P7M Message (Keychain opens, what next ?)

Hi All,

I'm using Apple's Mail.app. I received an empty email message with smime.p7m attached.

When I double click smime.p7m, Keychain opens and nothing else happens. The message is not opened, there is no message box, there is no error message, nor other prompt telling me what I should do next.

What am I suppoed to do next on Apple's platform using their mail prgram?

Thanks in advance,

Jeff

HI,

The people here that respond to Question people post are other Mac Users like yourself.

We don't work for Apple.

OIt then relies on us understanding the question posed.

Mail is not my "thing".

However this may be of some use http://www.cryptigo.eu/smime.p7m/

It means the email is encrypted and needs a reader. (I presume the one on the linked page is for Windows).
