why dont i have any of my playlists or play counts on my music?

Oh no i Backed up my i tunes library to a external harddrive because i gota new computer when i imported it all my playlistsand play counts and extra information was gone. The music still play but i need all my play counts restored too! HELP HELP HELP!!!
