Which file/folder to select when using multiple libraries?

Which file/folder to select when using multiple libraries?

I've recently decided to split my library and my mom's library - but we still share a computer. And I'm not sure which file or which folder to say is the correct one for each library. For right now, each library is the same, but if I add a CD and she adds a different CD, we shouldn't be able to access each other's - and I'm trying to set it up so that doesn't happen.

Except I'm not tech savvy enough to do that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Set up the two libraries in two different user accounts on Windows. Anything else will be an uphill fight.

Hmm. That's a possibility, except I'm not sure what all that entails - as I've never used a computer that had two separate accounts on it. Would I basically have to use one for only iTunes?

I don't have Vista in front of me, but on Win 7 you can set up a new account by Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove User Accounts > Create New Account.

Go ahead and create a new account and play with it a little. It won't affect anything in the existing account. When you feel comfortable, set up a new iTunes library in it.
