Is it ok to charge my iPod touch 5th generation over night with my iPhone power adapter plugged to the wall?

Well, they all should be fine since all apple devices can be plugged into the computer. And chargers are charging with 5vdc which is USB power. You should be fine. If it was a bad charger, it would probably be just as bad as being plugged in for a few minutes than overnight. Hope this helps!

Yes, it is perfectly fine. The charger for the iPhone and iPod are the same charger. I charge all of my devices overnight - most of them are plugged in until I use them....(which means that they might be plugged in for several days).
