No LED or picture on Apple tv 2nd Gen

I have tried to reset my apple tv with the remote. It didn't respond. I tried connecting to iTunes and it wound't show up under devices. I can still play music through it however there is no picture and my TV doesn't even recognize that there is a device plugged in to the HDMI input. The LED will not come on at all. Anyone have any idea what to do.
