Jun 11, 2013 12:44 PM in response to illiraby BDAqua,Hello,
Have you blown the dust out lately?
Get Temperature Monitor to see if it's heat related...

Take a screen shot & view that in Preview, move the Preview window around, if you see double lines it's a Video card/VRAM problem, if the lines do not move moving the pic around then it's the LCD or cable.

Jun 12, 2013 1:45 AM in response to BDAquaby illira,Thanks for that - I did the temp thing and I think it's pretty normal - around 40.
I also did the screen shot and when opened it in preview and moved it - the vertical lines did not move.
So am assuming your suggstion of cable or LCD applies. Does that mean total replacement of either?
Thanks for your help - it's becoming really annoying!
Cheers
