I'm trying to set up my mac email account on my Windows 8 PC (Outlook 2013). I set the IMAP settings and when I click next to set up, login to incoming email works, but the outgoing email test returns a 530 5.7.0 No Auth command error

I'm trying to set up my mac email account on my Windows 8 PC (Outlook 2013). I set the IMAP settings based on the Apple support article: HT4864 and when I click next to set up, login to incoming email works, but the outgoing email test returns a 530 5.7.0 No Auth command error



"Send test e-mail message: Cannot send the message. Verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 530 5.7.0 No AUTH command has been given."

I got the message with Outlook 2007. The odd thing is that I have been using Outlook 2007 to read my @me email for the past six months. Everything was working fine until today. All of a sudden, outlook won't send any mail. I can receive main but will not send. When I tested my settings, I receiced the same error message.
