Scenario: 4 SSID
Apple TV configured to connect to option #2: 5.0GHz
Users on guest network (2.4GHz Guest or 5.0 GHz Guest) are not able to use AirPlay/mirroring. Is there a solution so i don't have to switch the SSID on the Apple TV back and forth?
router can be either Airport Extreme or Netgear R6300 ac.

i'm trying to simplify my network, rather than adding devices, i'd like to take advantage of what i have.
A few weeks ago i read this article (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4840466?answerId=21353187022#21353187022) and tried to implement it but it did not work out. I might have missed something though. Has anyone else tried and got it to work?
Every consumer grade wireless router that I've used that offers the ability to serve up a guest network has also had the option to prevent guest machines from connecting to trusted machines. Admittidly, I have not used either of your specific routers. Personally, the wireless routers in my home are pretty much dumb with a firewall, DHCP server, and transparent proxy (for content filtering) running on an inexpensive Linux machine.
