Can I use my Mid 2007 24inch iMac as a display for gaming consoles such as Wii and PS2?

I have a mid 2007 iMac that I would love to use as a display to play games on the Wii and PS 2 when I want to. Is that possible? I am positive I would need some kind of adapters but I need to know first, if adapters would even be necessary for this kind of situation. I've read other forums where it's not possible but that was with a newer iMac.

The computer works fine, just wanting to use it as a display everynow and then.

Only the 27-inch iMac and Thunderbolt iMacs can be used as an external screen > http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11302 It means that you can't use your iMac to play with your consoles

I have my PS2 running via the Elgato EyeTV Hybrid into my 2007 iMac. It's a 27" right enough, but I'm using the USB port rather than the display port, so assuming you have a spare USB port I'd stay this would be a possible option for you, no?
