How can I delete the "local snapshots/ backups" on my Macbook Pro ?

Hi ,

How can I delete the "local snapshots/ backups" on my Macbook Pro ?

Its currently occupying over 70 GB and I would like to free up some space.

Also, is there any downside of deleting the old snapshots? (I have backups in my external hard drive. )

Regards,

Andy

Time Machine removes local snapshots automatically when your hard disk gets full, so don't worry about it. Anyway, if you want to delete them, you should see this Pondini's article > http://pondini.org/TM/30.html
