Q: Will genius bar staff look at my older MacBook and recommend upgrades to improve performance?
Yeah, I probably should just call them, but it is 10 PM in Las Vegas and they are closed. My MacBook is slowing down and I read some answers on the community as to what to do. From those, it looks like I need more RAM and a larger hard drive. Also, maybe some backup to storage. I don't know if this is possible on my MacBook, so I have to find out and think the Genius Bar personnel would help. Do they do this stuff?
Thanks.
MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Yes, they can help. However, Apple charges around 2X what you can buy and install memory for yourself. OWC and Crucial are both good sources. This Apple note tells you how to install memory. You can find a video here on how to install memory too.
