How can I Index (or re-index) a mounted server volume or a folder of it?

Hi !

I work with MacOsX 10.5.8 (@ work) in a Environment that have Windows-PC Workplaces. I am the only 🙂 that works on a Mac.

All what I miss local can be found with spotlight in few seconds, but if the missed files are only on our File-Server I cannot search/find with the whole Power of Spotlight.

Question: how can I force to index (or force to re-index) a external mounted Server Volume or a Folder of this ?
