Can't turn on my mini iPad and it is hot

Any suggestions on why I cannot turn on mini iPad Had it plugged in to recharge and now hot. Help

When troubleshooting temperature, please refer to the following article:

When using the device or charging the battery, it is normal for it to get warm. The exterior of the device functions as a cooling surface that transfers heat from inside the device to the cooler air outside.


We'll need to isolate this issue further as your device is not turning on. Please run through the applicable troubleshooting steps in the following assistant:
