I download the .ics file as usual and in the past it's asked which calendar I want to enter this information under. Now iCal says "Calendar can’t read this calendar file. No events have been added to your calendar."

I managed to import the file when I deleted everything that had to do with HTML code at the end of the file. I'm not exactly sure about the purpose of this code, but deleting it left me with my flights inside my calendar, exactly as I wanted.

This does indeed work, thanks very much. You go into TextEdit and delete everything after END:VCALENDAR which is, as you say is html code.
How weird - I checked an .ics flight file I received in December of last year and it doesn't have any of the html coding.

The seem to have changed the ical import files again and now they don't have the HTML code. No change for me though, i can import them into my Exchange account, but then I enter sync **** with a pop up every few hours telling me the entry can't sycn with exchange.
How bizarre, it seems that Apple forums finds my use of the follwiing word offensive enough to asterix it out. H*LL - the asterix is an E.
