I cannot change my Safari Default Homepage...

Hi there, I'd be grateful if you could help me....

Once I have change my Safari Default homepage, and I quit, and re-open safari, safari opens still on the apple.com/uk site, not the homepage that I have specified.

Quit Safari.

Hold the shift key down and relaunch Safari.



Empty Caches


Safari > Preference > Advanced

Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".

Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.

Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.

Empty caches.

Option click the "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.

Select "Library" and then "Caches".

Right click "com.apple.Safari" and select "Move to Trash"

Relaunch Safari.


Reset Safari.

Click Safari in the menu bar.

From the drop down select "Reset Safari".

Uncheck all boxes.

Check the box beside " Remove all website data".


Click "Reset".


Temporarily turn off Extensions.


Safari > Preferences > EXtensions

I cannot change my Safari Default Homepage...
