Q: Does this works with windows OS? or do i need to format with compatibility ?

Hello Friends,

 

I am trying to purchase Time Capsule with Router which was recently released by Apple , for storage and Wi-Fi broad casting ... so my question is do i need to format this drive when i want to store any files from windows based machines and do i have any issues to access the files from this storage device ???

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

    PC can access the TC drive... it is SMB device.. the internal format of the drive is Mac but that is irrelevant.

     

    Windows does not always play nice. But it should work. Speeds over wireless can be an issue.. are you going to be using AC wireless client?
