Hi
How can I change the startup menu?
Thank you
Apple menu > System Preferences > General >
Uncheck “Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps“
Hi,
This did not work
Thanks
Hold the command and spacebar, now type Terminal and open the program
Triple click on this next line to select it and copy it (do not type it) and paste into Terminal and press enter
rm L*/Pref*/com.apple.systempreferences.plist
Restart System Preferences and set your preferences again and reboot.
Or just go to System Preferences, Users and Groups, and Select Login items. Remove what you don't want. Also, Hold the Shift key after you type your password to log into the computer. No terminal needed.
Also one more thing. Right click on the App on the Dock, and uncheck "open at login" if it's checked. Forgot that little bit :-)
Thanks, that really helped me, too.
