how to uninstall apps?
If you are running OSX Snow Leopard or later, go into Launchpad, select and hold on the application until they all begin to wiggle, and press the black "x" in the upper right-hand corner.
Or you can drag it to the Trash and then empty the trash.
That's it!

OR, you can go to finder -> application -> choose which app you want to uninstall -> right click (click once on trackpad with two fingers) -> choose "move to trash" -> (optional) empty the trash bin
It all depends...
Some developers supply 'uninstall' apps that will remove all traces of the application and its auxiliary files. Use this uninstallation process if available.
You can (some people recommend this, others don't) use an app such as AppCleaner to 'trash' the app and any auxiliary files.
And then you can just trash the app... unfortunately this usually leaves some auxiliary files on your start-up disk.
Pick your poison.
