Broken macbook charger. Snapped off magnet area.

I have recently found someone has stepped on my macbook charger, forcing it to pull out of my mac on the wrong angle. I realise I can buy a new one ($90 is too much for a uni student).
I was wondering whether apple will replace or fix it?
The gold points inside the charger are still in tact and the magnet is still in fine condiction. they seem to just need re attachment.

Can anyone assist?
