Why isn't my music showing up?

I got a brand new iPad 2 yesterday. Last night I wanted to listen to music so I went into my library and all my music was there just fine, but the songs wouldn't play. I tried with and without headphones, and it said the songs were playing but the song never got past 00:00. I went onto here and saw a similar person's question. So I did what people suggested; I logged out of my home share account and then logged back in. But after I did that and went back into my library all my music was gone, it disappeared. I went into iTunes and my music is all there, it's just not showing up in my library.

This is a little confusing to me. What library are you talking about? Are the songs in the Music App on your iPad?

Home Sharing only works if your computer is turned on and iTunes is running. Music that is synced from iTunes on your computer, or downloaded directly onto the iPad does not depend on home sharing at all and turning it off should have no effect on it either.
