Airport Utility 6.3 for Windows

I was looking into purchasing an AE, but now with the new models, it says I can't administer it from Windows 7. With our current setup we have 2 iPhones, an iPad, a MacBook (10.6), a couple streaming devices, a Win7 laptop, and Win7 Desktop (which is my primary machine). I realize I can administer from the iOS devices, but would really like to see a Windows compatible Airport Utility 6.3.

Are the chances silm for that ever happening?

This is garbage....I mean I have an iPad and iPhone, but windows desktops and laptops. So what this appears is that I can't fully manage my new AE? The apps suck and are limited. Using the current version 5.6.3 I think I cannot see any 802.11ac options or even select it. Previously I could lock it down to only 2.4 and 5 gHZ 802.11n signals...now...cant. If this is how Apple wants to play...I'm taking this POS back and getting something else.

I agree (that this is garbage). The main issue I have with this is that you can't upgrade using iOS/apps from an older unit like you can using the Windows Airpot Utility. It does not offer a way to save the config (or upgrade X unit) that I am aware of so you have to set it up from scratch. I have lots of NAT rules and static DHCP configs that would be a PITA to input all back in. Apple, please make an updated version for Windows that supports the new AC devices.
