How do I insert a pages document into another pages document?
iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)
Either copy the content and paste it across, the proper way to transfer material, or:
Menu > View > Page Thumbnails > Copy and Paste the thumbnails from one document into another

Many thanks. It's a pity that there is no mention of this that I could find in the on-line manual.
There is a similar solution in this forum back in 2010 form an American lady.
I'm trying to do this but not having much luck.
Does this copy & paste of thumbnails still work in Mavericks?

Oops, I meant in Yosemite.
Don't confuse the Operating System (yosemite) with the version of Pages.
It sounds like you have Pages 5.5.3.
It only works in Pages '09, like 100+ other features only work in Pages '09 and previous.

I'd like to bring another pages document which includes pictures to another pages document. When I move this other doc it won't stay within the doc I am editing.
