I want to get into using FCPX a lot...
I know you can buy keyboards with nice colours
But, what's the point when you can just buy stickers? Or do these keyboards have special buttons?
Are the stickers any good?
Or do they come off after a few days?

They are all a waste of money .......... depending on your viewpoint.

having never used before, i thought the stickers where great help for remmebering?
for the first link, i made a bit.ly that would be helpful to all:
(fcpx and finalcutprox were both taken - still easy to remember, just add the hyphens)
Unless you are working professionally there's not a great need to know them all.
Just a few of the more commonly used ones will be useful.
Regarding a question in another thread, this is the tutorial course I was referring to:-

It lasts 2 and a half hours and will teach you everything you need to know.
If you have Firefox with the DownloadHelper plugin, you can download the videos to keep on your computer, so you don't have to keep accessing them from the web.
I'd miss out the chapter on "Keywords and Ratings" to begin with.
Also be aware that the course was created 2 years ago since when there have been changes to FCP X, so a few items may not work exactly as described.

When I started with FCPX a couple of months ago, I decided to buy an additional Apple keyboard ($50US) and add the stickers to it ($12), far less expensive than buying a dedicated keyboard. I used it for a very short while and found that when not using FCPX, the keyboard stickers were distracting, so I put it aside and memorized a few of the most important keys and just use my plain keyboard. Now I just look at that keyboard once in a while for special keys.
