Move dock apps into a stack

Hi,

I am wondering if the following scenario is possible.

I have stack defined and sitting in the dock. I want to have the ability to move(drag) dock application into the stack. For example, if I select Safari icon in the dock, can I drag it into the stack?

Thanks. I look forward to your reply.

All stacks have to sit to the right of the vertical line in the dock, and you can't stack apps from the dock. In theory, you could create a folder with Aliases to various apps, and the drag that folder to the dock to become a Stack, then remove the applications from the left of the dock line.
