iTunes Seasons Passes for TV episodes do not download automatically (per Apple Support). Anyone have a workaround? Automator?

When researching a problem such that my Seasons Passes new episodes did not appear as new downloadable content ("You have downloaded all the content for this Apple ID"), Apple Support tells me that Seasons Pass content are no longer considered applicable to "check for available downloads".

Has anyone created a workaround?

Actually, they are put in your downloads. But this is only for new passes going forward. And you have to chose the (Download All) options as well during your purchase.

For current passes before this change, you can do your work-around here:
