HOw can I send and receive faxes from new iMac?
Is there a modem and fax package that works with Mountain Lion? I've been able to use a Zoom modem with OS X 10.6, but not later.

I have looked this matter up in the Apple Menubar help in my 10.7.5 system. The setup for this only works when there is a 'recognized telephone modem" attached. In this case, you may need to have the Apple USB/modem adapter cable. USB on one end, and phone plug to phoneline on the other.
Once this is done and recognized, the Print Control Panel will enable the FAX Setup section. If you need further info, check the Apple Menubar help for your specific MacOS.
