backlight to 4th gen ipod nano won`t work. any help?

i have a 4th gen ipod nano. the ipod is fine but the backlight wont work. it still works to my computer and it still sync to itunes. any ideas to fix this? im willing to pay money to fix it. even though its not under warrenty.
