What should I do when my computer froze while updating OS X?

I am updating my Mac book pro from 10.4.11 to 10.6.3

In the process of doing that it froze and gave me the rainbow wheel.

What is the next step?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.11), Trying to update to 10.6.3

Force shut down, boot from the Optical Drive, and perform install again. Sorry bud :-( Sometimes that happens though
