How do I allow unknown sources on the ipad 4

If you mean install apps from unknown resources, you can't. iPad apps are only available from Apple.

well he might not respond but i will... im attempting to install teamspeak3.ipa this is a slightly modified version to make it easier for my clan members (yes yes i know slap on the wrist) but point and case because im trying to install it from somewhere other then the original app on the app store. when i use send anywhere file transfer to send it over to the iphone it downloads and does ... nothing any help would be amazing none of the install has been changed just instead of pointing to the public server it points to our server without further setup. basically i just need to install teamspeak3.ipa from my iphones downloads

While Apple does make some Apps,most Apps come from third party developers. Though any apps that you wish to install can only be obtained from the App Store App.


You can download things on the iPad besides photos and pdf's as long as you have an App installed that can open them, read them or play them. For instance you can download a zip file in Safari, and it will give you the choice of opening it in an app that can handle such files like iZip.



Perhaps Chickenfruit can explain what it is they want to download and we may be able to provide more adequate answers rather than half truths and inaccuracies.
