my audio recording isn't working very well. for example, when i record a video of me talking, it seems as if im whispering. it seems like something is blocking the sound recorder. anyone having this problem?

Yep this happened to me once too,
Find the microphone slot, its very tiny,
I took a paperclip and gently got it in the slot and moved it around to clean out the slot.
Then my audio was all fixed.
where is the mic slot at?
I remember on my old 4th gen it was near the rear facing camera.
It is very small.
its not working 😟

- Make sure the mic hole is clear and unobstructed. It is the little hole on the back by the camera lens
- Open the Voice Memos app and see if you see movement on the VU meter needle with changes in noise level trying to be recorded.
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
