I would like to get the ios 7 beta and would do it for a cost but not the full developer cost, I would register my udid from Imzdl but I don't want my ipod to get bricked by apple. Is there a risk to this? Can I get in trouble with apple by doing this?

It will void your warranty on your device, and honestly if you are not a developer you have NO business using an iOS beta. The beta is buggy, and your device will have an expiration date for every new beta available, also you cannot report 3rd party app crashes to Apple, because these apps aren't meant to function on the newer iOS version.
