That's not caused by any malware I'm aware of. What it sounds like to me is very serious hard drive corruption that is causing all manner of corruption. Before you do anything, do you have any backups? If not, it may be too late to make them, but it would be worth trying.
Once you're satisfied that you have whatever data backed up that you can, you should try repairing the hard drive with Disk Utility. Once you have done that, post back here with the results if you need further assistance. If the repairs fail, or if they succeed but the problems persist, you will need to take additional steps.
yeah disk utility wont repair the drive..its grayed out and it it says its a read only disc..its almost as if something has invaded my drive and kicked me out (all my permissions..) im using these flashdrives.. one is a lexar and the other a toshiba...they are less than a year old..i started noticing the weird info about a year ago.. some mp3's would change from english to russian.. it was wierd...could be a virus from downloading mp3s maybe..i did download some musicfrom a russian filesharing website..i always check to see what kind of files i download they are either .rar or .zip files..and i check the size to kinda make sure they are legit..if it is an app or whatever i delete it..apps never open automatically i make sure of that..i bought another flashdrive and backed up a bunch of files that were on the drive...haventchecked to see if they work yet..could it be a defective flash drive? its wierd because the dates that the files were made has been changed to like the year 1901..any body havethis problem? i would like to know how to deal with it..mahalo and aloha..

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
