You are not giving any information.

What exactly happens when you try to share?

Post a screenshot. Also, give the settings of your project, what kind of sharing are you trying, etc

I found this problem too, the only way is to export the movie as Master file and then use Compressor.

Dont even use the option "send to compressor" in final cut!

That sort of thing sometimes happens when your system needs a little maintenence. Try these tips to clear it out:

I started using FCPX .08 a few weeks ago and I'm not having any problems sharing. I've shared to my iTunes and viewed with my Apple TV v2, burned a DVD and attached to email. I'm on OS 10.6.8, MacBook Pro 17" i7 2.2Ghz, 16GB RAM, 960GB SSD.

FCPX has shut down a couple of time, but all I do is throw away the preferences files in user Preferences folder and carry on.

Did you try all of the 10 troubleshooting steps from the link that James Cude sent you? Including the instructions for resetting preferences?

Yes i did most of them..i get used that apple systems works usually without set any settings ... I want to do my jobs and I have no time to try to find right settings. I have once installed everything again and this reminds me times when i used windows system. I´m not engineer and I think that apple goes down if they publish systems that do not work....were I can find people who can say what EXACTLY is wrong..when I read recalls I think that very meny things can be wrong I think that this tells final cut pro x is incomplete and I have go back older original final cut pro...

If you have work to get done, that is completely understandable.

Maybe Apple should tell people when they are going to buy this program that this Is not plug

and play program and you have to be expert If you are going to solve

Problems... Sorry I like Apple production I have had all iPhone

Versions and 3 computers but now...
