I develop iOS apps. I have an iPHONE app that records a Lat and Long... geolocation. I dont care about map. Ideally, I would like to use a device that does not require a contract, and I want to seu something the size of an iPOD.
Thus, can I get a Latitude and Longitude from an iPOD with out Interent connection?

One could purchases GPS accessories for older iod touches. I do know know of any for the 5G. However, iOS 6 messed some of those up. See:

All I can suggest is a iPad Mini with a cellular radio. Those have GPS and yo do not have to use the cellular connection to get the GPS signal.
