How to extract audiobooks from iTunes

Hello,

Long ago when I had my iPod Touch (2nd gen), I had downloaded some free audiobooks. Since I lost my iPod Touch, I couldnt listen to them now. It still resides on my Mac (10.6.8) under iTunes. Can anybody kindly guide me how to extract those audiobooks out of iTunes so that I can listen to them as normal mp3 files on my phone (Nokia).

Thanks.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.8), iPod Touch (8GB) iOS4.0 -> Lost :(

Theres's no need to "extract" anything. All iTunes media files reside, by default, in ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/... (as long as you haven't changed the default location). However, depending on where you purchased the audiobooks, they may be restricted with DRM and you can not listen to them on your Nokia phone. Audiobooks purchased from the iTunes Store generally have the extension .m4b and are DRM restricted.

Where did you get the audiobooks from?
