podcast app - limit to how many podcasts you can have?

I have this situation that seems to come up every day. I synchronize my podcasts from iTunes (11.0.4) to my iPhone 5 (6.1.4) and when I look on iTunes at the Podcasts listed under the iPhone ALL of the podcasts are listed. Yet when I look on my iPhone one show doesn't seem to show up on the device. I've re-synchronized and I see iTunes show that it is copying the show from point A to point B yet the shows never display on the iPhone. I'm using a 2008 macbook with Lion (10.7.5) as my computer for the iTunes and synchronization.

So the question is that does the Podcast have a limite on how many shows it can hold? I have other shows that each have around 2 epidsodes per show (right now) unplayed. I also have had some of these shows with up to 10 unplayed shows before (yeah, had a backlog of shows to marathon through). I have also deleted the show and then re-selected the show for synchornization.

Anyone else experiencing issues with the Podcast app?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

I subscibe to around 80 Podcasts through the app....

Thanks. I think I may have mispoke on what issue I'm having and after doing more of a search I think I found what others are doing to correct it. The issue I'm having is that I have episodes of a podcast that just don't want to seem to show up on the Podcast App even though iTunes shows that the were synchronized to my phone. I'm going to try and create a Playlist and see if that fixes the isssue. If not others have said they deleted the app and are able to view the Podcasts via the Music app so I'll try that as a last ditch idea.

For those that care and are reading this I "fixed" the issue by deleting Apple's Podcast App and using the Music App as Podcast is listed again as a usable category. Needless to say ALL episodes of every show I'm subscribed to showed up and are listed correctly with both the artwork I like (some of the shows have outdated artwork and I've updated it manually on my end) and also the episode descriptions. My opinion is that Apple should just get rid of the Podcast app or make that a dedicated store such as iTunes for music and the App Store for applications. But keep all playback functionality in the Music app.
