Q: Restore iPad dimmed screen to normal brightness?

During morning email review the screen dimmed and will not return to usual brightness. A restart has no effect.

iPad 2, iOS 6.1.4

Hi, johncr.

This could be a result of the lighting conditions in the room and Auto-brightness being enabled. Try adjusting these settings via the steps in the article below to see if your iPad returns to the preferred brightness.
