Logitech M100 USB mouse
Logitech M100 USB mouse sometimes stops working; the device is not powered (the light on the bottom goes out). When disconnected and reconnected, the light on the bottom flashes briefly (<.5 seconds) and then goes out again. Other USB connectors (i.e. phone chargers) work fine in the same port before and while the issue is occuring. The problem affects both USB ports at once (but again only for the mouse in question). Issue requires a restart to get the USB ports to work with the mouse again. Second M100 mouse to have this problem with this computer; both mice work perfectly with my old white Macbook. 2012 MBP, OS X 10.8.2. Thank you!
