Q: MacBook Air ordered on Monday, status: Cancelled - Replaced with a new product

I ordered a ethernet adapter, but those items are shipping inside the MBA box i think. They are listed within the specs sheet of the MBA. I ordered more items so now I know why I dont have a tracking number yet. I called apple 10 minutes ago and they 'apologised' for the delay in my delivery. (I wasn't mad about that, but still surprised they were so nice. Now i get a refund of €100 :D

I think our MBAs might be headed for Anchorage USA.  I really hope not.  But I just checked uk.flightaware.co.uk and the only UPS flights currently in the air are headed to Anchorage!

I hope our parcels are tucked underneath the luggage of someone flying home to Heathrow from their holidays in Asia but can't find a flight that would match that profile.

This is really obsessive.  I need to stop....

According to the Apple manage orders page, my estimated delivery date is 20 June 2013... so here's to hoping it'll get here tomorrow!

I ordered the same as you guys I think, a 13" MBA with 8GB of RAM, i7 and 256GB SSD. That was the only item in the order.

I got an email the other day where Apple said sorry for a delay. Next thing I know I have the status you had with the whole 'Replaced with new product' thing.

I've been tracking it closely, UPS tracking isn't very good though. Should be on a plane by now to the UK at least if it's gonna be here by tomorrow..? But no flights for UPS coming into the UK on Flight Aware.

Also, Apple order status says this: "Shipment delayed due to weather conditions - please contact carrier for update"

On the UPS tracking page it says: "Network disruption due to prior weather conditions, check ups.com for further updates." - There is nothing special on ups.com!

Annoying. Very annoying. The fact it wen to Korea is weird too..

Rokape, the weather thing you mentioned is true. The apple guy I talked with on the phone told me that due to bad weather conditions my shipment was delayed. So I hope this clarified things a little bit for you

EDIT: Korea is also not a weird destination for your precious Air to got to. Incheon Airport is a big air cargo hub in Asia.

Weird when it went from China to Korea and then to Hong Kong.

It's had 2 flights and not even left Asia yet.. Just one flight to Hong Kong and then out would suffice, surely.

MBA delivered today.  All working well so far.

Pleasantly surprised to see my package went from Hong Kong to the European Hub in Cologne.  It then had a quick trip to Stansted and on to the Croyden depot all within a matter of 3 or 4 hours!  Now that is exceptional logistics.

Yep.  Original estimate on ordering was 18th - 20th June.

Despite all the delays, they got it to me just on time.  And very glad I am too.  I've been without a notebook for months now.

And thanks - I am enjoying it already.

I just saw my status updated with a UPS tracking number. Delivery tomorrow, june 21! *really excited*

So then it is on time for me also! (19-21 june).

Last known location of my Air is Tilburg, The Netherlands. It's now in the UPS network. Tilburg is about 50km away from me ^^

Just to check in! My MBA arrived this morning, very happy with it. Writing this message now on it

It went from Hong Kong to Germany, then to Donnington, then to my local hub!

Delivery on the 20th, as promised. I also got a £25 refund from Apple when I called yesterday as it had been delayed twice. That paid for the case, and also very nice of Apple.

Good luck with your MBA's, hope you enjoy them when they arrive!
