MAC PRO10.6.8 just downloaded file sent 5/2010 "BoogieWoogie" (4-wmv) I could play it then, but now it says I cannot open because its not in a format that Quicktime Player understands that I have to install addit'l software to open this type of file

WHAT software and WHERE do I find it to download?

Free VLC player for the Mac, check out the Icecast Radio Directory also

If anyone is running 10.8. or later, then they might have to right or control click on the installer or app to "Open" to bypass Gatekeeper controls at least once, then it learns it's a ok to be trusted program.
