Hi-Fi Reviews Compared to Bose

There are some on www.cnet.com but I'm curious to get user opinions on Apple Hi-Fi, or the Bose Sound-dock.

Long story short - The main difference between these 2 products - in my opinion

For 100-150 square meters listening room - Bose & iPod HiFi

For 200-400 square meters listening room - only iPod HiFi

I'm also looking for a clear sound. I know Bose is known for that, and I'm hoping that the Apple Hi-Fi also provides that. Especially for $350..

Powerbook G4 Mac OS X (10.4.5)

I've got both units and find overall that the Bose is clearly more accurate with the music. If you listen to them side by side you'll hear far more detail in the Bose but far more Bass if you listen to the iPod Speaker. I would say however that if you ever listen outside (as I did yesterday) then the iPod Speaker is better as it can go that bit louder and bassier. There are 2 other very good additions to the iPod Speaker that would lead me to chose it over the Bose...1 is the Optical Input which is great if you have an Airport Express or want to use it as an improved TV speaker from a Satalite receiver for example and 2 is the ability to use batteries.
