Q: My existing icloud account has my old email address that no longer is valid; therefore I cannot verify my account to make changes. How do I change my email address?

I want to start backing up all my data through icloud and noticed that I originally set it up through an email address I no longer use. It's asking me to verify account before I can start backing up but that email address no longer works. How do I switch or start up a new icloud account so it's backing up all my current data?

Any help is much appreciated!

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.4

Go to http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Manage your account'. You will be able to change the non-Apple email address you use as a login. You will then need to log out and in again on all your devices.
