Safari updated itself a few days ago and was working fine up until this morning. Now I click on it, it bobs up and down once or twice, but a browser window won't open. Any suggestions for what I can do to fix it??
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
Ideally - locate a crash report from Console application... look in Diagnostic & Usage Information - User Diagnostic Reports in the log list on the left & see if there's one for Safari dated today. If so, copy it & paste the contents here.
If there's no log - test in a new or Guest user account, since if Safari fails there too, there's no point in trashing caches/settings in your usual account.
My Safari was updated to 5.1.9 and now it won't open - help!
