Please can you release iOS 7 on iPod touch 4th generation

iOS 7 will not be compatible with the iPod Touch 4.

Because it doesn't have the required hardware (system RAM) to run the new version.

Personally, I think that's BS. Both the iPhone 4 and the iPod Touch 4th Generation have the Apple A4 CPU and have 512MB of RAM. They're pretty much identical devices in terms of hardware. If the iPhone 4 can run iOS 7, the iPod Touch 4th Generation should be able to as well. I think Apple isn't releasing iOS 7 for the iPod Touch 4th Generation because they just wanted an excuse to release another piece of **** iPod Touch without an iSight camera, colors, and a loop.

All the iOS devices compatible with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory. The 4G only has 256 MB

i feel the same way , the ipod touch 4g should get ios 7 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, I talked with an apple store employee and you will be able to download ioS7 on the iPod Touch 4th gen, just you won't have all the features that it comes with. It is still on the devices list being able to download it and use it.

Nope.

Your statement is accurate about the iPad 2, but not the iPod 4. the Touch 4 is not going to get iOS7. The iPad 2 will get it but will not run many of the features.
