itunes freezing

Hi my itunes keeps freezing, It was okay before I updated it to version 11 the latest one.

I've started it in safe mode and it works okay. So I followed the instructions to find plug ins and put them onto my desk top. relaunched itunes & it still doens't work.

I've uninstalled in and reinstalled it and still nothing. I am now stuck what to do as I have an iPod & an iPhone and need my account.

any assistance would be gratefully received
