Still image at 60fps?

I was working on a project that will need stills added onto the timeline.

The video footage is from the DVX and is on a 30fps timeline widescreen.

For some reason when I import photos into FCP they are twice the duration I have set. This made me realize that the FPS for the stills is coming in at 60fps.

Just wondering if it will be a problem to mix 30fps video with these 60fps stills?

Final output is DVD.
The stills will have zooms and pans etc.

Hmm... that's odd - a still shouldn't have an FPS, one would think...

Yeah...stills should have a fps that match your project. But really, none of that matters. Just mark IN and OUT for as long as you want them onscreen and drop them in. Then do your PANS & ZOOMS.
