The glass on my iPod touch screen has a circle on it, when I lick my finger and wipe the screen, the moisture focuses onto the region where the circle is.
I recieved a replacement iPod a few days ago so it could be a fault?

Can glass be dented in any way? It seems like it had dented/pitted after running my finger over it multiple times it seems like it dips in slightly.
Not likely at all since usually the glass will crack. If defective Apple should exchange it at no cost. The warranty on a replacement iPod is 90 days or the remainder of the original warranty, whichever is longer.
