Firewire to USB for Keyboard and Mouse

I have a Mac mini with fried USB ports as indicated at:

How to DIY-repair fried USB ports on Mac mini?

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5066111

and the Bluetooth does not work either.

Therefore, I cannot use such Mac, since the Appple USB keyboard/mouse and Apple Bluetooth keyboard/mouse are not functional with such a Mac.

Questions:

1. Are there Firewire to USB adaptors to connect the Apple USB keyboard to the Mac?

2. Are there Firewire to USB hubs to connect the Apple USB keyboard to the Mac?

3. Are there Firewire keyboards?

Thanks.

The Bluetooth and USB are the same driver. So a BT keyboard does not work, neither an USB keyboard. I do not know of a serious USB to Firewire adapter to connect, but it would cost certainly. I seem to remember that there are WiFi keyboards (?).

For numeric there is a simple solution: download and install an app on the Mac called "Numberkey Connect" and install "Numberkey" on the iPhone, then you have a numeric pad and can type on the iPhone. This works with BT off in both.

Somebody knows if it is TECHNICALLY POSSIBLE to connect a keyboard (USB keyboard or FireWire keyboard if such thing exists) and mouse to a Mac mini via the FireWire port?

In other words, is technically possible to control a keyboard and a mouse from a FireWire port on a Mac? If yes, how? Any FireWire keyboard out there? any FireWire-to-USB converter, adapter or hub out there?

Thanks.
