I just bought it from my friend, and I have tried updating and reseting it for a couple hours. I have tried it on several computers to.
Every time getting error -1. I would like to get it fixed, but I don't have any more funds and dont think it would be free to fix or have the time.
All I want to do on it is to play music and Ifunny, and the browser crashes a lot to

The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
