Acidnetly removed downloads folder. How do I get it back the way it was?

Is there a way to reverse the chronological order of "most recently added". I accidentally removed my downloads folder and can't get it back to the way it was. When I sort it by "most recently added", the oldest added now show up first. In the actual downloads folder accessed through a finder window there is now "most recently added" view option, so I can't reverse the order there.
